GED Trailblazers is our dedicated adult education program that empowers women to obtain their GED certificate in approximately five months. Many of our students had long abandoned their dreams, believing they were not intelligent enough or choosing instead to focus on raising their families or supporting them through work. None of those decisions should have closed the door to their potential. Our program is specifically designed to reopen that door. We utilize the Yoliztli methodology, developed by founder Orlanda A. Herrera. This approach starts with a fundamental premise: all adults possess practical knowledge shaped by their life experiences. Our mission is to help them translate what they already know into the academic realm, rather than treating them as if they are starting from scratch.
